The movie

I have seen the first half of the movie i haven't had time to finish the whole movie yet. I'm excited to finish the movie though, it has been really good so far. I think Angelina Jolie has done an amazing job representing Susanna as a character. The director has really made the book and movie go together and has represented the book very well. I hope they have a good ending to the movie because if not I'd be very disappointed about it.

Theme

My book has so much go on throughout the whole thing, it is hard to find just one theme.I would say the overall theme is to never let others bring you down because you can one day show them they were wrong. I think this the theme because Susanna was told for so long that she was crazy and kind of that she didn't mean anything. she was left with no one and nothing. In the end she showed everyone they were wrong by getting back up on her feet. After she had gone through so much stuff at the mental institution, she definately proved everyone wrong.

Video from movie about book

This video is from the first 10 minutes of the movie based on the book. This is all I have seen from the movie and it seems to be showing in the book in a good way. I want to see the rest now since it so far has been good. This part of the book is when Susanna gets her assessment which puts her into the mental institution. Hopefully when you watch it, it makes you want to read the book and watch the movie.

My predictions

I,m about half way through my book at this point So far it has been really good and it makes you think. I feel like a lot has happened so far but I also feel like something big is going to happen soon. It stresses me out not knowing what;s going to happen next. I have lots of predictions but I'm sure half of them are wrong. For example my biggest prediction is that Susanna is going to be released from the mental institution and she's going to tell what exactly happened to her. I feel like I'm right on that since she did write the book, she could've wrote it in the institution but I think she wrote it after she got let out. Another prediction I have is that Daisy's suicide is going to affect a lot of people there emotionally. I think it might cause some kind of problem among all the patients since they all knew and loved Daisy.

writer

I just figured out a really cool thing about my book. I thought that someone just wrote about Susanna and what st  experienced, but actually it's a memoir. Susanna the girl who experienced it all wrote the whole thing. I think that's why the book has become so real. Everything in the book is so realistic I just can't even imagine what they people went through it is unreal to me.  I would never want to go through that it is awful and terrible. I can't even describe it to you.

real life issues

My new book is called Girl, Interrupted, it has been so good. There's lots of real life issues that I have noticed within my book. Like I mean it doesn't relate to my life or anyone I know but it has stuff in it about other things that happen to people. Something that was big that happened would be the main person Susanna took 50 aspirin and went to a psychiatrist. After just one hour with him he sent her to a mental institution, he told her it was only going to be a couple weeks. The book talks about what they do to you there. It's awful. The book really makes you feel like you were there when everything happened and I love it.

Yay I found a better book!

I was at half price looking for a new book and I wasn't finding anything. Then I went to the psychology section because that interests me and I found the best book ever. So I went to the school library and got the book.

My new book is called Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen. It is a true story and it is actually written by the person the stuff happened to which makes it so much better. The book is about Susanna and when she was in the mental institute in 1967. It talks about people she was there with. Also about how badly they were treated in there and what she was personally going through. Her psychiatrist of like 1 hour put her in there when she was 18. He saus she was going only for a couple years, well that was a lie, it hasn't been a couple weeks it's been a lot longer actually. I/m excited to get farther into the book and here more about her experience at McLean Hospital.

I don't like my book at all

My book has been getting really boring lately. I just haven't been enjoying reading it at all. I think since I watch the tv show Pretty Little Liars it has kind of in a way ruined the book. I know the book and the show are supposed to be really different but I don't see it that much yet. The book has just been boring, not much has been happening. Hopefully I can find a good book to switch to because I've decided I wanted to switch books. I mean theres no point of me reading and writing blogs about a book I don't like and a book that I don't car about.

This book has so far just been to girly for me if that makes snese. I like more serious books with action. I really like sad books even though that sounds weird. It's just that those types of books are more interesting and better.

My conversation with Alison DiLaurentis

If I got to choose one character from my book that I could have a conversation wiht I would definately pick Alison Dilaurentis. The reason I would want to talk to her so much would be because then I could ask her what happened that dredful night she went missing. I could ask her who did that to her. I would love it. I could hear her side of the story.

I like the conversation would end up being kind of serious. It would be like that because we would get to talk about how she went missing and everything that happned and that's a serious thing. I wouild give anything to talk to her and see what she had to say.

This picture is of the actress who plays Alison DiLaurentis on the show.

Real Life Issues

Some real life issues in my book would be when Alison DiLaurentis has gone missing. Her bestfriends don't know what happened. They only know a few things, the girls had been drinking a little, they were asleep when Spencer came back and said Ali was missing, and Spencer had heard a scream while looking for Ali.

This relates to real life issues because this happens a lot more than people realize. people go missing on a daily basis mostly. Then they're friends and family are left worried. The people that are left behind just have unanswered questions until possibly one day they'll get answered. They are left hoping that one day their family memeber or friend will come home and be with them once again. I personally can't imagine being that person who sits with unanswered questions, worrying, and having barely enpugh hope tp go on. The book has made me realize how hard having someone go missing would really be.

The image I have is from the tv show based on the books it's a newspaper article that was going around Rosewood.

Plot Line

The setting of my book Pretty Little Liars take splace in a small town called Rosewood. In the town most people know each other. In this small town there is no place to hide which really adds to the plot of the story. After Ali went missing everyone thought it be easy to find who did it.
Then they realized such a small town could be a lot scarier than a big town. Whatever happened to Ali is being hidden very well by a clever person who knows how to hide in a small town like Rosewood. Will they ever find Ali or will she be gone forever? No one really knows. It's been five years now and everyone has mostly given up. Except Alis old best friends who are out to find who has made Ali diappear so long.

Book vs. T.v Show

I'm reading the first book of the Pretty Little Liars series. The first book is called Pretty Little Liars. The books were made into a t.v. show on abc family, I'm obsessed with the show. I started reading the books because I liked the show so much, but the book is so far pretty different from the show. In the book only like two of the characters are described the same as they are in the show, like with their looks. The personalities of the characters are mostly the same and the plot line is pretty similar.

I don't know if it's different because it has more detail in the book or just the show didn't follow the books that well. I'm only on page 52 so maybe it will get more similar to the show but I've been told that it's completely different in the books. I'm excited that it might be different it will give me more perspectives I think.

Aria's Change

Aria Montgomery is one of the main characters of my novel Pretty Little Liars. In the beggining of the book she had a punk style, with pink in her hair. She didn't really know who she was, she just kind of tried different looks. She just did her own thing and was herself but was always unsure of who she actually was.

Npw five years later she is a completely different person. Aria doesnt have that punk style anymore, she desrcibes her style now as a bohemian-hipster type of style. Which is very different from punk clothes and pink streaks in your hair. She was sure of who she was now. Spending two years in Iceland really helped her find herself. She knew how to talk to boys now, she knew she was pretty, and knew she was fine the way she was.

Main Characters of Pretty Little Liars

There are five main characters in my novel Pretty Little Liars. There names are Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Emily Fields, Alison DiLaurentis, and Hanna Marin.
Aria Montgomery had brown hair with a pink stripe in it. She was a typical 7th grade girl. Emily Fields was a swimmer with skinny hip and tiny legs. She never wore anything tight and was modest. She was pretty though.

Spencer Hastings was fireld hockey player. She had smooth dark-blonde hair. She was rich so she dressed in nice clothes always. Hanna Marin was pretty but since her parents got divorced she had gained weight. So she was kind of bigger but no one bothered her about it. Alison DiLaurentis was tall and skinny. With purfect blonde curly hair and a pretty face. She always had the best clothes amd people wanted to be her.

Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard

I chose this book because everyone had told me the book was really good. People also said the whole series was good. Another reason I chose Pretty Little Liars is because I'm obsessed with tv show on Abc family. Over the summer i saw the first episode ever and I was hooked so I watched all the episodes and caught up to where everyone else was. I love the show a lot so I figured I'd like the books a lot too. The books seem intense and I like intense books they keep me reading.
